Aubrey Denise Cooper

Aubrey Denise Cooper arrived on Sunday, December 27, 2009 at 7:15am.
She weighed 7lb 6oz and was 19 1/4" long.
We couldn't be more excited that she's finally here!

Merry Christmas

Well, it's the first day of Christmas break, and I'm so excited to be off for a few weeks. Soon a new little one will come into our lives, and things will be even better. So, here's to a wonderful Christmas season to everyone!!! :)

Our BIG News

Well, here it is! Our big news! :) Kevin and I are expecting our first "Mini-Cooper" (as my students say) on December 28th! The start to this pregnancy was not fun. I've never felt so "not myself" in my life. Feeling sick all the time and trying to be at school every day is NOT what I call fun; however, I did make it...somehow. :)Thankfully I'm starting to feel better, but I still get sick at night some. I try to keep something in my stomach at all times, and that seems to help. My next appointment is this Wednesday. I hope to have some pics to share by then! :)

Dog Daze of Summer

Well, since I've had some time off, the dogs have been loving it! They have been able to have the run of the house (well, most of it anyway), and they have chosen to spend most of their days like this:

And most people think our dogs are crazy all the time....I just don't get it. ;)

About Us

Kevin and I met in July of 2001 when we lived in the same apartment complex. Kevin had the cutest little Italian Greyhound named Biggles. It's hard to believe it was 8 years ago that we met! At the time, I had just started working at Berkmar, and Kevin was at Sign Central. Shortly after that, Kevin went back to working for Nekton. Since working so far from home didn't work out for us, Kevin moved back to Atlanta and started working for Sign Central again...now Graphics Central.

Kevin and I moved into our house in February 2003 and got engaged in December of the same year. We decided to get a playmate for Biggles, so in March of 2004, along came Ramsis (aka Rambo), our second Italian Greyhound. We then got married in July of 2004 and went on the most fabulous Honeymoon in Hawaii!

Since getting married, we have both been in school, we've taken some wonderful trips to The Keys, and we've taken on a third Italian Greyhound, Lily. I've also taken a trip to Mexico to learn some Spanish and about the Mexican culture, and I took a girl's trip to San Francisco and Sonoma with Betsy and Stephanie.

All in all, life is going pretty well for The Cooper Family.
